Hey, posse! I wanted to give a good warm welcome to my blog space where I'm going to not only sharing my personal stories but also dropping some valuable gems that I've learned along the way in this journey called life.
I grew up in Michael Jackson's hometown, Gary, Indiana, and it'll forever be the place I call home. Coming from humble beginnings definitely makes you more appreciative of certain things in life. Later I moved to the home of the Cowboys, Dallas, Texas while in middle school and I'm Triple D to the fullest. Both of my homes are essential to understanding who I am. I graduated from thee best HBCU in the land, Prairie View A&M University where I received my communications degree. There I learned to become the ultimate media maven. I've worked in many different areas of radio, journalism, production, and digital. From college, I moved to the DMV area for two years where I learned my true passion and grew into who I am. This is where The Journal Entry comes into action.
The Journal Entry is the passion project that I felt on my heart to start and share with the world. It focuses on exploring and discovering your highest self through self-improvement, journaling, and inspiration. With this platform, my goal is to honestly share light into the world and build an empowering community that focuses on bettering themselves to be a better person.

While living in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area for two years I really encountered the lowest of lows and highest of highs which led to really finding my purpose. My purpose is to use my love for creating content and sharing stories to empower others to really become who they visualize themselves as every day. I'm creating a space for you to go on the journey with me to be the person I dream of being. Community is important and we can't do it without one another.
